Winco MDL-15 Description
The Winco MDL-15 mandolin slicer set comes with a folding base, a safety pusher, and five interchangeable blades. Users push food down the base with the handguard, which helps protect their hands from the blade. To assist with this process, the base stands at an angle. Its nonskid feet hold it in place, and when cutting particularly stubborn foods, users can grasp onto the base's handle. The blade sets are interchangeable, so users can make a variety of slices with one unit, and if the blades wear out, a replacement set can be used.

All heavy duty stainless steel. It will last my lifetime.
Don't bother with De Lynne review. The vegetable holder is supposed to ride on the left and right rails. If it fit between the rails it would hit the blade. The thickness of the cut is adjustable. Makes great olive oil potato chips.

This mandoline is not worth purchasing, you will be hurt!
Yes, a mandoline is supposed to be sharp, but this one's guard does not fit in the track, unless the item is small enough to fit inside the safety guard, the tines will not hold it. And even if it does fit into the hole and the nails grab it, the safety holder does not fit between the sides of the slicer, it rides above it wasting costly foods. Mine did not come with a r straight blade, it is serrated, Serrated blades are good for "sawing" not for straight cutting. This could have been a good piece of equipment if care had been taken in the design. It is sturdy enough, just poorly designed and therefore, a piece of junk!
