Because the Winco ASP-10 saucepan's side flare toward the top, the bottom diameter is smaller and limits heat exposure, which is ideal for low-temperature, long term cooking. These flared sides also support stirring better than straight sides, while the 10-quart-capacity pan is made of aluminum—a lightweight material that heats up quickly and evenly. To increase durability, the handle is riveted for lasting strength.
