This material has natural nonstick properties that more affordable wood options lack, so dough is unlikely to stick during preparation. While aluminum is a durable material, it isn't safe in the dishwasher, so washing by hand is required. To achieve the best clean, wash the 15-inch-long rolling pin in warm water with a mild detergent and nonabrasive sponge. Immediately dry the pin after washing to prevent limescale formation.
