Depending on operating conditions, the Scotsman UF1415AX-1 flake undercounter ice maker can produce 142 pounds daily. It makes flake ice, which is often used in healthcare because it minimizes choking risks. After making ice, the unit stores it in its built-in bin, which has a 36-pound capacity and comes with a scoop. The bin's door has an ergonomic design that slides back and out of the way.
Designed for tight spaces, the Scotsman UF1415AX-1 undercounter flake ice machine has a slim footprint, and the unit doesn’t require side clearances since it takes in and expels air from the front. Adjustable legs are included with the unit to maintain stability on uneven floors. If the legs are removed and an optional floor kit is used instead, the unit can fit under ADA-compliant counters. If there is an issue with the unit or an operator just wants more information, they can scan the QR code and be directed to cleaning and servicing manuals or warranty history.

Review this product!
I would always buy Scotsman.
I'm not as impressed with the new machine as I hoped I would be. It has never filled up the bin which is very small. I had purchased a much older used Scotsman model and it had to stay in our well house and it stayed full all the time. It was also an under counter model larger but it had to sit in that hot building where this one sits in my cool house. I'm not so certain that in this case, brand new technology was a better ice making machine than the one I bought 15 years ago that was already outdated and old. Still love the ice it puts out. That hasn't changed. Flakers are the best, for beverages or water or tea or just to eat the soft ice.
Great product
They got the machine to me in a timely manner and the price was right. Would definitely use them again.
