Scotsman HID540WBX-1 Description
Built for long-lasting durability, the Scotsman HID540WBX-1 ice dispenser's evaporator, auger, and exterior panels are constructed of resilient stainless steel. This metal offers excellent resistance to rust and corrosion, and it's simple to clean. It features a sealed refrigeration system to minimize the risk of contamination, and its sealed, maintenance-free bearings reduce necessary labor. To facilitate thorough cleaning, this unit's grill, sink, spouts, bin, and air filter are removable.
Operating with R290 refrigerant, the Scotsman HID540WBX-1 ice and water dispenser produces a maximum of 500 pounds of H2 nugget ice per day in ideal conditions. This type of ice is chewable and absorbent—perfect for chilling sodas and iced tea. Ice and water are dispensed at the push of a button, and the buttons are treated with AgION™ antimicrobial protection. The unit's key components are protected by the same agent, inhibiting the growth of germs such as bacteria, mold, and algae. Keeping plenty of fresh ice on hand, it's equipped with a 40-pound storage bin.
