Ideal for medium-volume operations, the Scotsman HID540ABX-1 countertop ice dispenser produces as much as 500 pounds of ice per day in optimal environmental conditions. It crafts H2 nugget ice—an absorbent type perfect for cooling soft drinks and lemonade. To keep fresh ice on hand, it's equipped with a 40-pound storage bin. This unit measures 21 1⁄4 inches wide by 24 19⁄50 inches deep by 41 inches high with an 11-inch dispensing area that accommodates most drinkware; its compact footprint enables countertop placement. To reduce maintenance needs, it's built with sealed bearings.
Sturdy and corrosion resistant, the Scotsman HID540ABX-1 ice and water dispenser's auger, evaporator, and exterior panels are made of stainless steel. This metal also offers excellent resistance to dents and scratches and is easy to clean. To enhance sanitation, the key components and control buttons are protected by an antimicrobial agent that inhibits mold, bacteria, and algae growth. This unit is air cooled and operates with R290 refrigerant. The unit has push buttons for convenient dispensing of ice or water. Its SmoothStream™ water dispensing minimizes splashing to maintain a pristine working area, while its 8⁄10-inch enlarged sink drain removes excess water.
