This Scotsman HID525WX-1 Meridian™ ice and water dispenser produces 500 pounds of H2 nugget ice in 24 hours when ambient air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit. This type of nugget ice melts slowly, dispenses easily, and displaces more liquid than half- or full-size cubes. Its storage bin holds as much as 25 pounds of ice to accommodate high-traffic serving applications and is removable for cleaning. Along with ice, this unit features a SmoothStream™ system, which releases cool water smoothly to prevent splashing onto nearby surfaces. When its infrared dispensing mechanism detects a cup, the unit expels ice and water beneath the dispensers to help minimize germ spread.

To accommodate countertop installation, the Scotsman HID525WX-1 ice and water dispenser measures 21 1⁄4 inches wide by 24 3⁄8 inches deep by 35 inches high. Its water-cooled condenser uses R290 refrigerant to generate and maintain cool temperatures, while the sealed refrigeration system protects product from airborne particulates. Designed for longevity, the unit's auger and evaporator are made of rigid, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and AgION® antimicrobial agent is molded into key internal components to slow mold, algae, and bacterial growth between cleanings. To streamline cleaning and maintenance, the spouts, air filter, sink, and grill can be removed.
