The Hamilton Beach HBF900SR Expeditor™ food blender has a die-cast aluminum base that is weighted to minimize tipping, and it has nonskid feet that prevent slipping. For safety, it has heavy-duty lid locks and a lid interlock feature that will not let the blade start until the lid is locked in place. Its lid is transparent, enabling users to see contents and monitor consistency. A 4-ounce dosing cup is included for measuring small amounts of ingredients. The container's handles are comfortable and create a secure grip when lifting. This blender has a start/stop rocker switch and three speeds: low, medium, and high. A pulse switch keeps the ingredients moving and provides control over the finished product's consistency.
