Delfield CTP 8160-NBP Description
For countertop use, the Delfield CTP8160-NBP sandwich salad prep rail is similar to a prep table but lacks the refrigerated storage base. It has a pan compartment that holds pans recessed 2 inches from the top, and it can hold six third-size pans. If operators want to create a different pan configuration, seven adapter bars are included.
Because it's made of stainless steel, this Delfield CTP8160-NBP countertop prep rail resists corrosion, dents, and scratches, and the unit's refrigeration system is self-contained so all necessary components are built into the rail. It uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—an alternative to more traditional options that reduces negative environmental impact. Before food is added to the rail, it should be chilled to at least 37 degrees Fahrenheit, and it'll keep product at less than 41 degrees for 4 hours.
