For optimal durability, the Bobrick B750 automatic hand dryer is constructed of one-piece white iron casting finished in glossy enamel. To prevent tampering, the air outlet opening is designed with a vandal-resistant grille and two concealed, tamper-resistant, recessed hex screws secure the cover to the base. The automatic thermal-overload switch enhances user safety and the heating element is inaccessible to vandals.

An infrared sensor in the Bobrick B750 AirCraft® recessed hand dryer turns on the unit when a self-returning nozzle or hands are held beneath the air outlet opening and across the sensor's path. It stops when hands are withdrawn or the self-returning nozzle is released. The dryer automatically shuts off about 1¹⁄₂ minutes after starting.
