For additional durability, the frame is made of heavy-duty stainless steel. So water will drain off in the shower, it has slots in the seat, and after use, it can be folded to keep it out of the way. To stay down if the user wishes, the seat doesn’t automatically return to its upright position.

Folding Shower / Dressing Area Seat, compact design, seat is constructed of durable, water-resistant, ivory colored 5/16" thick solid phenolic. Frame and mounting brackets are type 304 stainless steel and feature self-locking mechanism. Supports up to 500 lb when properly installed. Seat 18" wide, projects 15-13/16" from wall. Universal / barrier-free mounting height 17 - 20" from top of seat to floor.
