Cecilware Products: What You Need to Know

Founded in 1911, Cecilware Pro offers appliances and equipment for restaurants and other foodservice operations. Choose from quality gas or electric equipment, whether you need fryers and grills for the back of house at a burger restaurant, refrigerated units for displaying specialty beers at a bar, or insulated syrup dispensers for catered breakfasts.

Common Questions About Cecilware Pro

What types of equipment are available?

  • Fryers: All of Cecilware Pro's fryers are made of stainless steel. Heavy-duty floor models are available with the capability to run on natural gas or propane. Countertop units run on electricity.
  • Griddles: These griddles sit on the countertop and include thermostatic or manual temperature controls. Electric and gas units are available.
  • Char broilers: These countertop units use one, two, three, or four independent, manually controlled grilling zones. The cast iron chargrilling grates can cook with either lava rocks or the radiant method.
  • Hot plates: Cecilware countertop gas hot plates offer cooking on two, four, or six individually controlled cast iron trivets.
  • Sandwich and panini grills: These electric grills are made of stainless steel with a cast iron cooking surface. They offer two-sided cooking for sandwiches, paninis, and other products.
  • Warming equipment: Cecilware Pro offers syrup dispensers that hold 1 or 2 gallons of product at 125 degrees Fahrenheit, keeping it thick, but warm enough to prevent crystallization. Portable, 5-gallon liquid dispensers for syrup, honey, and other hot liquids are also available with or without electric heating.
  • Cooling equipment: Cecilware Pro's customer-facing countertop refrigerators include glass doors to increase impulse sales. Use them to display beverages, such as specialty beer or soda, or prepared foods such as salads and sandwiches.

Can I switch my Cecilware cooking equipment from natural gas to propane?

Most Cecilware Pro products powered by gas, including griddles, charbroilers, and hot plates, can run on either type of gas without the need for a conversion. Operators ordering Cecilware's floor model gas fryers, though, must choose a unit specifically designed for one fuel type or the other.

Can I plug Cecilware's electric equipment into a regular wall outlet?

Most Cecilware kitchen equipment can plug into regular, 110-volt outlets. Exceptions include certain sandwich and panini grills, which require 240 volts of electricity.
