Wet Bars vs. Dry Bars

Hotel wet bars are compact drink prep stations equipped with cabinetry, a countertop, undercounter refrigeration, and a sink, while dry bars don't include the sink. Wet bars are ideal for places without access to a dedicated sink for cleaning glasses or bar tools, while hotel dry bars work well for serving premade drink service in high-traffic areas, such as hotel lobbies or game rooms.

How to Install a Wet or Dry Bar

Most wet and dry bars feature preassembled cabinets and countertops. To use them, simply position them against a wall and secure them in place. They also require a power outlet, and wet bars need a water supply and drain. Dry and wet bars come with custom refrigeration systems that typically slide in after cabinet installation.

Dry and Wet Bar Accessibility

Most dry and wet bars sold by KaTom have countertops under 34 inches tall, making them ADA compliant. Their shallow depths and easy-to-open cabinets enable access for all operators.
