Steam Pan Cover Features

Also known as hotel pan lids, steam pan covers are typically made of stainless steel with reinforced edges and fit over standard food pan sizes. They have built-in handles at the top and sometimes feature an open slot for serving utensils, which is a convenient option for cafeterias and buffets where food is served over extended periods. Most lids are flat, but some are raised above the top of the pan to provide additional clearance.
