The number of levels and pretzel capacity of the unit will be significant considerations when choosing a pretzel display case. Most units will come with three levels, but the capacity each one of those levels can hold varies widely. Some displays can hold as many as 75 jumbo pretzels.
Manual controls tend to be less expensive and easier to replace, but they can be manipulated accidentally in high traffic areas. Digital controls tend to be easier to read from a distance and typically produce more precise temperature control.
Single side access provides one door for full-service applications. These are most common in full-service settings where the display is located on or behind a counter. Pass thru models may be more desirable if you would like your pretzels to be accessible from both sides of the counter, either for easier loading and unloading of product, or the ability for customers to serve themselves. Many have doors and sides that are removable for easy cleaning.
- Humidity control is a vital necessity in keeping pretzels soft and pliable if they're not going to be served immediately. Models without humidity controls tend to be a more economical choice, but those with it keep pretzels at their textural best longer. li>
- Simple graphics can catch customers' attention and lead to increased impulse sales. This can be achieved with a pretzel display through standard or customizable signage areas.
- If you need to keep some pretzels or items warmer than others, this is possible thanks to independent level controls that are available on certain models.
