Metal Grill Pans
Grill pans come with grooved or flat plates, so operators can choose the design that best fits their operation. These metal grill pans may be pre-seasoned or induction ready, making them ready to use right away.
Metal grill pans and griddle pans come in aluminum, cast iron, stainless steel, or carbon steel options and may be silver or black or feature a red ceramic coating. Metal griddle pans are available in rectangular, square, and round variations with one or two handles. Rectangular and square aluminum grill pans range from 51⁄2 to 21 inches in length and 10 to 19 inches in width, with round stainless steel pans usually measuring 12 inches in diameter.
Typically, stainless steel grill pans have grooved plates, which are ideal for meat and vegetables, while grill pans with flat plates are great for eggs and pancakes. Many metal pans come with a nonstick coating so grease and other food don't muck up the pan, streamlining cleaning. These metal pans may also be reversible, many times with grooved plates on one side and flat plates on the other for versatility.
