Bar Liquor Displays: What You Need to Know

Liquor displays come in several different configurations, ranging from standalone stair-step shelving that elevates different liquors to lighted shelves that highlight the attractive packaging. We also carry rack-style bottle displays that invert the bottles for simple dispensing and merchandising. Attention-grabbing displays put the thought of delicious drinks at the front of your guests' minds in order to boost premium drink sales.

These bar liquor displays have practical applications on top of advertising your products, providing extra storage space in the cramped confines of a commercial bar. Some styles provide more storage while others provide more merchandising power.

Common Questions About Liquor Displays

Why is a lighted shelf better than a regular shelf?

Bottle display shelves can seem like a foolish investment at first glance – why pay for electricity for a lit shelf when an unlit shelf is cheaper? However, just as with advertising on TV, over the radio, or in print, every entrepreneur has to draw attention to their product if they're going to make sales. Depending on your business' atmosphere, a lighted liquor bottle shelf can highlight the drinks you want to sell most while decorating open spaces with representations of what you offer. Well-designed merchandisers subtly draw the eye to a product without clashing with your existing aesthetic. A lighted bottle display shelf will cost more than a normal shelf, both in initial price point and utilities, but if you can utilize the merchandising properties to increase sales, the price could be offset very quickly.

How does a wall-mounted bottle rack work?

Bottle racks hold your bottles upside down with a press-activated actuator to dispense liquor when desired. At a busy bar, having the bottles ready to serve can save significant amounts over the course of a night. The quicker you serve customers, the more customers you can serve, resulting in boosted sales. Rack-style liquor displays also hold bottles where your customers can see them, optimizing the marketing that the bottle makers have put into labels and brand names. Most bottle displays also have controlled flow rates that enable the bartender to control the portions of liquor in each drink, saving money and ensuring your customers are satisfied.

What size of liquor display do I need?

Our displays range from small, six-bottle units to much larger five by five options. Of course, these measurements assume that you're using standard liquor bottles. All of our units come with inch measurements to help you determine if the unit will fit where you want to put it, as well as giving you an estimate of the total number of large or smaller-than-average bottles it'll hold.
