Its black powder-coated 18-gauge steel frame, measuring 17 1⁄4 inches wide by 19 1⁄2 inches deep by 41 3⁄4 inches high, integrates two curved bars and a footrest to improve balance and support feet during use. Plastic glides at the base guard against contact damage while minimizing wobble. Made of 5⁄8-inch-thick plywood with a rich mahogany finish, the 500-pound-capacity seat measures 16 3⁄4 inches wide by 16 1⁄4 inches deep by 29 inches high and pairs with a schoolhouse backrest to promote spinal alignment.
