The Leer 60ASL-R290 ice merchandiser offers a slanted body and extra-large openings for efficient ice loading. It provides access through two doors and measures 73 inches wide by 35 1⁄2 inches deep by 68 3⁄4 inches high. The unit’s 60-cubic-feet interior space can hold (180) 7-pound bags, (140) 10-pound bags, or (70) 20-pound bags of ice. To access the interior, each door flaunts chrome-finished handles and hinges for thorough use. The ice’s quality is upkept because the doors feature high-impact breaker strips that offer a thermal break between the exterior and interior; meanwhile, the magnetic door gaskets are made of a Santoprene® material that withstands harsh weather conditions. The exterior sports an all-steel construction, while the interior provides a stucco-embossed galvanized steel finish.
This 60ASL-R290 outdoor slanted ice merchandiser features fully functioning digital controls to assist with operation. This control panel supports manual defrost cycles (only possible when the unit is at ideal operating temperatures) and also offers a temperature- and time-terminated automatic defrost system that runs every four hours. The top-mounted compressor and drop-down cooler assist with circulating R290 refrigerant throughout this unit’s interior cabinet to maintain ideal temperatures from 16 to 24 degrees Fahrenheit.
