An outdoor unit, the Leer 40CS-R290 ice merchandiser is constructed of stainless steel and finished in a two-part primer capable of withstanding weather conditions. Flush to the structure is a door that’s inset 2 inches; this door features a high-impact breaker for consistent opening and closing with reduced wear. The door flaunts a fully steel construction that reduces the footprint of dents, scratches, and other minimal abrasions, meanwhile, the door’s rain shield reduces moisture collection for a stable grip. This 50 1⁄2-inch wide by 30-inch deep unit’s 40-cubic-foot interior holds (100) 10-pound bags of ice.
The Leer 40CS-R290 ice merchandiser operates with full digital control and maintains the ice’s quality with a 16- to 24-degree temperature range. The compressor unit is located at the top, which allows the interior to provide more space. R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant facilitates within this unit’s enclosed space for freezing processes, and it's built with a cold-wall defrost process to soften the ice on essential evaporator coils and the unit’s walls. The cold-wall defrost requires the unit be emptied and unplugged, while the recessed interior drain plug supports the exiting flow of water.
