While the Front of the House® DSD008BKP23 Spiral® dish's ink black glaze attractively contrasts plated foods, raised concentric circles along its plating area add gentle texture and decoration for an elevated presentation. This footed porcelain piece has undergone a double-firing process at temperatures hotter than 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit to enhance durability, and because its rim is reinforced, it resists chipping to reduce replacement frequency. As much as 3 ounces of mashed potatoes, rice, fruit salad, or ice cream can be served in this 3 1⁄4-inch-diameter by 1-inch-tall piece, which can simply be run through the dishmachine after use.
