The adjustable electronic thermostat in the Excellence Industries UCS-28 stand-alone chest freezer has a wide temperature range—from -50 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit. The freezer fits kitchens with prepackaged ice cream products or prepared batches of product that need cold storage space. Cool temperatures are maintained and held inside the cabinet with four inches of insulation and efficient R290 refrigerant. If something goes wrong, the alarm sounds to notify bystanders. To eliminate built-up frost, this unit has a pull-out defrost drain.
