The eQuipped VRGD23 glass door merchandiser is fully insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane, so cold air is retained in the cabinet. To keep air from escaping, a removable gasket seals the cracks around the door. Because this positive-seal, self-closing door is made of glass and the cabinet is illuminated with interior lights, guests can see stored products clearly. The four plastic-coated steel shelves can be adjusted on a stainless steel racking system and accommodate many kinds of products, with a capacity of 90 pounds each.

To ensure all the products stay cool, an axial evaporator fan produces low-velocity, high-volume airflow. This eQuipped VRGD23 glass door merchandiser has a microswitch that shuts off the evaporator fan when the door is opened to save energy and conserve cold air. Because it is adjustable, operators can set the temperature at a specific level between 32 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit.
