For use on countertops or at checkout stations, this Imbera VR1.5 refrigerated merchandiser measures 14 inches wide by 18 inches deep by 27⁷⁄₈ inches high. To blend in with common convenience store decors, its steel exterior is black, while its white interior with energy-efficient LED lighting improves presentation of stored contents. Its single, right-hinged door is made of double-panel glass and low-E film that helps reduce condensation, ensuring customers have a direct view of product. To prevent temperature fluctuations, the door self-closes and returns to its original position to ensure it closes correctly. Because the interior features three flat shelves, this merchandiser is ideal for displaying a small range of products, such as bottled drinks, canned sodas, and prepackaged fruits, sandwiches, and salads. The shelves' wire construction is simple to clean and prevents leaky products from pooling on the shelf.

To ensure products are stored appropriately, the Imbera VR1.5 merchandiser uses R290 refrigerant to maintain temperatures from 32 to 44.6 degrees Fahrenheit. The built-in rear compressor improves convenience when users need to access the refrigerating compartment for maintenance. The refrigerator's PA refrigerator system cools the cabinet quickly and effectively and preserves a consistent temperature range. The cabinet's interior is insulated with cyclopentane—CFC- and HFC-free, high-efficiency foam that prevents temperature fluctuations, even in warm ambient temperatures or if the door must stay open for short periods of time. Operators can adjust temperatures, manage defrost cycles, and oversee compressor operation using the electronic temperature controller.
