In ideal conditions, the Maxx Ice MIM50V self-contained indoor ice machine can produce 60 pounds of full-cube ice in 24 hours. This slow-melting ice is ideal for cocktails, sodas, bagged ice, hotel ice dispensers, or quick-service restaurants. Staff can initiate ice production with the solid-state controls that feature an on/off button and unit status indicators. As ice is produced, it's dropped into the integrated storage bin, which can hold 25 pounds of ice. When the bin needs to be dumped or cleaned, it's simple to remove. An overflow prevention mechanism automatically prevents the bin from overfilling, and staff can use the built-in self-cleaning mode to minimize manual cleaning requirements.
The Maxx Ice MIM50V ice maker sports a black-painted steel exterior for a professional appearance complementing dark-hued settings. Its resilient metal construction resists rust and corrosion and can quickly be wiped clean. Because its sides are finished and it breathes from the front, this 143⁄5-inch-wide by 232⁄5-inch-deep by 333⁄10-inch-tall undercounter unit can be used as a freestanding or built-in piece of equipment. While its field-reversible door can accommodate specific kitchen layouts, its adjustable feet can be raised or lowered to stabilize the unit on uneven flooring. For proper installation, this unit must be installed in ambient temperatures between 50 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit and with a gravity drain line.
