Its drying cycle runs for 10 seconds, and it can continue for 35 seconds before it automatically shuts off to prevent motor burnout during periods of heavy use. It's activated with an infrared optical sensor, meaning users don’t have to touch the dryer before or after drying their hands—a design that reduces the spread of germs.

The Excel Dryer XL-W-ECO automatic hand dryer is made of a durable zinc alloy that’s coated with white epoxy for a smooth, finished appearance that enhances an atmosphere of cleanliness in the restroom. Air is filtered through the unit’s washable mesh filter, and the outer casing is secured firmly to the base with two tamper-proof bolts. Providing adjustable speed settings, the dryer can be modified to suit the user’s preferences.
