Libbey 1639HT Description
The Libbey 1639HT Restaurant Basics mixing glass can be used as a beverage glass for water or soft drinks, as a shaker to mix cocktails, or as a pint glass to serve draft beer. This all-purpose glass has been treated with a standard heat treatment as well as DuraTuff, a thermal after-process to make the glass more durable. This treatment, which helps resist thermal and mechanical shock, ensures the glass has lasting strength. Since DuraTuff glasses are resistant to breakage, they keep staff and guests safe in the event that a glass is dropped or mishandled.

Many Broke Easily Like "Sugar Glass"
"A few were broken upon delivery. Didn't think much of it until quite a few more broke very easily within the first week of getting them. They legitimately broke like "sugar glasses" break in the movies. It was almost comical how easily and where they broke on the glass. One just had a bottom corner fall off in a large chunk, leaving a hole in the bottom of the glass. We have it featured in our bar as a joke about "a hole being in the bottom of our glasses". We now realize why they were on such a good sale."
