Ecoline by Hobart EDH-1 Description

When incoming water is at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit, the Ecoline by Hobart EDH-1 door-type dishwasher's electric heating unit and built-in booster raise water to an NSF-approved safe sanitizing temperature, eliminating the need for costly chemicals. To save energy, its recirculating design filters and reuses hot water from previous cycles. This unit can wash a maximum of 51 racks per hour, using 47⁄50 of a gallon of water per rack, or 47 7⁄10 gallons of water per hour. For simple operation, it features one standard cycle and automatically soft starts when the door is closed. The revolving upper and lower wash and rinse arm thoroughly remove buildup and minimize the chance of clogging during operation.

Staff can gauge the Ecoline by Hobart dishmachine's operational status with the easy-to-navigate user interface, which displays water temperature and error notifications. To minimize user oversight, it features an automatic pumped drain, pumped rinse, and automatic fill. For smooth operation over time, users can manage limescale buildup with the delime cycle. This 28 1⁄2-inch-wide by 24 7⁄16-inch-deep by 60 9⁄16-inch-tall unit is compatible with corner or straight-through installation. Although it ships as a 3-phase unit, it can be converted in the field to a 1-phase unit for additional flexibility. Made of simple-to-clean, corrosion- and wear-resistant stainless steel, it complements other dishroom equipment and is durable enough to endure high-volume use.

Unreliable

This is used in a church kitchen. It only runs about three or four loads per week. We've been using it about 6 months, and already control board and the heater have failed.
