Centerline by Hobart EDGE10-11 Description
Built for medium-duty applications, this Centerline by Hobart EDGE10-11 food slicer features a manual design for improved operator control over slicing meats, vegetables, and breads. Its precision system enables users to adjust slice thickness from tissue-thin results to 9⁄16-inch-thick cuts. For versatility, this mechanism accommodates hard and soft foods, and its carriage supports foods 8 inches wide by 6 inches high or 7 inches in diameter. Because its product table is angled 45 degrees, it requires little mechanical pressure when operators insert product.
The Centerline by Hobart EDGE10-11 manual slicer's chrome-plated carbon steel knife measures 10 inches in diameter and is operated with a 1-speed, 1⁄3-horsepower motor for consistent cuts. To maintain its edge over time, it can be sharpened on the top-mounted ceramic sharpener. After use, the sharpener and carriage system can be removed and sanitized to reduce cross-contamination risk for next use. Built to maintain a clean surface, its base is made of anodized aluminum, which doesn't have many crevices that could harbor bacteria. This countertop machine measures 20 1⁄2 inches wide by 16 1⁄2 inches deep by 17 1⁄2 inches high.
