The Carter-Hoffmann CGM24 cheese melter is made of durable stainless steel and features a removable panel that converts to a pass-thru design. Its compact frame can be placed in a wide variety of locations, and it reduces power usage by half when idle to conserve energy. Then when items are placed inside the cooking chamber, it automatically activates at 100 percent power. Its infrared quartz heating elements are protected by a guard cage, and this unit's lack of moving parts aids in cleaning and enhances durability. Its 4-inch legs can be adjusted to stabilize the unit on uneven surfaces.
