Barska AX12842 Description
Great for storing small electronics, confidential documents, jewelry, and other valuables, the Barska AX12842 large biometric keypad safe features a 15 3⁄4-inch-wide by 12 3⁄4-inch-deep by 17-inch-high interior with a protective floor mat. Overall, this unit measures 16 inches wide by 14 1⁄2 inches deep by 17 1⁄2 inches high overall and is made of steel to withstand tampering or forced entry. For a classic appearance, it comes in black, and because it's equipped with pre-drilled mounting holes and hardware, it can be secured on a solid surface to prevent theft.
For flexibility, the Barska AX12842 digital keypad safe features a biometric fingerprint scanner that stores as many as 120 fingerprints and a numeric digital keypad that retains one PIN code. These features operate with four AA batteries, while a 9-volt battery can be used as an external power source. In case the batteries are depleted, operators can access the interior with one of the two included backup keys. If the safe is open longer than a minute, it will start beeping to notify users. Operators can discreetly open this unit by activating the silent access mode that eliminates beeping when the PIN is entered or the safe is opened.
