The Hollowick EZ4-2-5 Easy Heat® chafing fuel canisters have adjustable heat settings, enabling the operator to set the wick at low, standard, or high heat. They're preset at the standard setting: This heat option burns for 4 hours and is suitable for most applications. On their low setting, the cans burn as long as 5 hours; this is ideal for beverage service and other operations that don't require as much heat. When the wicks are set at the high-heat setting, they provide the same level of heat as two standard cans, but only burn for 2 hours. Because all the fuel is sealed inside the cans and only the wicks burn, they're safer to use than gel cans. The wicks are designed to produce a maximum heat output at a uniform and consistent rate, so the flame is always the same height above the can.
