Outfitted with HACCP software and three probes, the Bally Refrigeration NW500UR-SS Northwind blast chiller accurately logs food safety data and features an audio-visual alarm for proper upkeep. The floorless base and 4-inch poured-foam insulation preserve cold air and speed transitions. Operating on an air-cooled, side-mounted refrigeration system that uses R404 refrigerant, this chiller measures 81 1⁄2 inches wide by 47 inches deep by 98 inches high. Its stainless steel exterior resists impact damage in high-volume setups, while the 36-inch by 78-inch hinged door simplifies full-rack transfers. Two rack assemblies support 250 pounds of product inside a universal-rack interior.
