Hoshizaki AM-50BAK-ADDS Description
The Hoshizaki AM-50BAK-ADDS undercounter ice maker is optimal for commercial kitchens, hotel suites, and office breakrooms. This unit can produce as much as 54 pounds of top hat ice—the largest ice form—in 24 hours. Because it has a high ice-to-water ratio, it slowly melts in beverages and is optimal for alcohols such as Scotch. The ice maker is a compact and efficient unit with a built-in storage bin that can hold 27 pounds of ice at once. With its front-breathing configuration, the ice maker does require rear or side clearance, and the door can accommodate custom cabinetry to blend with existing themes.
For outdoor use, the Hoshizaki AM-50BAK-ADDS undercounter top-hat ice maker can be placed at poolside bars. This unit measures 14 7⁄8 inches in width by 22 5⁄8 inches in depth by 31 1⁄2 inches in height—this complies with standards for ADA requirements while saving precious floor space. To extend its service life, the ice maker is designed with fewer moving parts than similar models. Facilitating cleaning, operators can easily disassemble the water circuit, and the accessible power switch reduces maintenance requirements.
