Tuxton CCD-052 Description
Because it measures 5 3⁄8 inches in diameter by 1 1⁄4 inches high and holds 4 1⁄2 ounces, this Tuxton CCD-052 fruit dish is ideal for sliced fruit and parfaits. This circular ceramic piece is cobalt blue to match a wide range of established decorative themes. As a fully vitrified dish, it's nonporous, so it doesn't absorb water that could cause it to expand and crack; it's also stronger and thinner than pieces fired at lower temperatures. To expedite heating and cleaning, it's safe to use in microwaves, ovens, and dishwashers.
