The Norlake KODF77814-C Kold Locker™ outdoor walk-in freezer comes with the compatible Capsule Pak™ refrigeration system to produce and maintain interior temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit. Great for bulk frozen food storage, this unit measures 8 feet wide by 14 inches deep by 7 feet 7 inches high and includes smooth aluminum flooring that can accommodate an evenly distributed load of 800 pounds per square foot. Because it's an outdoor unit, it comes with a weather protection kit that features a 35-millimeter white membrane roof material that can be attached to the walk-in's ceiling panels without being glued or seamed. The metal trim for the roof's flashing can be secured in placed using the self-drilling and self-tapping TEK screws.

The modular wall, floor, and ceiling panels can be conjoined with the cam locking fasteners and the male and female mating rails, creating an airtight seal and aligning them in place. Polyurethane insulation measuring 4 inches thick is foamed into each panel to provide R-32 thermal resistance for the ceiling, walls, and door and R-28 thermal resistance for the flooring. To prolong its service life, the interior and exterior panels are finished with corrosion-resistant 26-gauge coated steel that's stucco embossed.

By using the Norlake KODF77814-C walk-in freezer's 26-inch-wide by 78-inch-tall right-hinged entrance door, employees can simply enter and exit the unit. It's fitted with field-adjustable cam-lift hinges that can be modified to ensure it opens and closes smoothly. To deter pests and minimize temperature fluctuations, a spring-actuated door closer ensures a secure closure. After business hours, the door's deadlock handle can be locked. The vapor-resistant LED light inside the freezer provides a full view of the storage area so operators can quickly assess inventory, and a digital thermometer provides an accurate temperature readout. To minimize energy consumption, an exterior pilot light indicates if the interior light is still on after users exit the freezer. If staff become locked inside the unit, they can exit using the safety release mechanism.
