Great for storing bulk frozen product, the Norlake KODF7768-C Kold Locker™ outdoor walk-in freezer is a 6-foot-wide by 8-foot-deep by 7-foot-7-inch-tall unit with smooth aluminum flooring that can accommodate an evenly distributed load of 800 pounds per square foot. To maintain an interior temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit, this unit has a ceiling-mount Capsule Pak™ refrigeration system. For the refrigeration unit to work properly, this unit must be used in areas no warmer than 90 degrees Fahrenheit. To endure outdoor use, it's equipped with a weather protection kit that comes with a 35-millimeter white membrane roof material and metal trim for the flashing.

Operators can assemble this unit by interlocking its modular wall, floor, and ceiling panels with cam locking fasteners that create airtight seals and properly aligning them with the male and female mating rails. Each panel comes with a 4-inch-thick layer of polyurethane insulation foam, delivering an R-32 thermal resistance value for the walls, ceiling, and door and an R-28 thermal resistance value for the floor. The interior and exterior panels are finished with stucco-embossed, corrosion-resistant, 26-gauge coated steel to extend the unit's service life.

The Norlake KODF7766-C walk-in freezer's smooth-opening and self-closing 26-inch-wide by 78-inch-tall door provides direct access to the unit's storage area. A vapor-proof LED light above the door illuminates the freezer without interfering with the shelving or product. To conserve energy, operators can determine if the interior light has been left on with the exterior pilot indicator light. A digital thermometer provides an accurate interior temperature readout so users can determine if products are stored in a safe environment. During non-business hours, the deadlock handle can be locked, and to prevent staff from becoming locked inside, it features an interior safety release mechanism.
