Not a fan

This is made in Turkey, not France. It is made by Hendi who also sells it themselves for a similar price. It does not say Matfer on it, anywhere. I have 3 different style mussel pots. The Staub (12), a Demeyere (4), and 1 of these. This is my lead favourite. It's ugly, very dated looking, and enamelling steel is quite silly and pointless.

KaTom's Response:

Thank you for your feedback, Jesse. We did want to clarify a couple of points for accuracy. The "Hendi" you're seeing is part of a product line associated with Matfer Bourgeat and not a separate brand. The enameled steel construction is intentional-it's designed to help prevent rust and corrosion, provide a heat- and scratch-resistant surface, and make cleanup easier, in addition to its classic appearance. That said, we understand that design and finish preferences can vary, especially when you're comparing it to other pieces in your collection. We appreciate you sharing your perspective.
