The mug features an ironstone speckled exterior that provides a classic look that suits a wide range of establishments. The handle on the side allows it to be easily held, even when it is full of hot soup, stew, or chili. The GET BF-080-IR Santa Fe soup mug is constructed of melamine, which is resistant to breaking and can safely be cleaned in commercial dishwashers. Microwaving is not recommended for melamine since it can cause the material to discolor, weaken, chip, and peel.
