The GET B-1609-BK Etchedware™ bowl is made of melamine, a hard resin plastic that will not easily break under heavy use. It is able to be used in -20 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit environments but is not safe to microwave since it will chip and peel. This dish can be cleaned in commercial warewashers and is free of BPA. Food stands out against the black color of the dish, while the dish itself easily blends into almost any theme. Its surface is textured to create a unique display.
