The Finex L12-10001 skillet lid can be placed atop a similarly sized Finex skillet or Dutch oven to enhance flavor, moisture, and heat while simplifying braising, boiling, and simmering various dishes. Dual basting rings integrated into the underside collect steam, which then drips back into the dishes to add flavor. To minimize condensation, it's built with steam vents. While its inner lip nests in cookware with six pour spouts, its rim rests keep the lid from rattling as liquids boil. This durable, elegant cast iron piece is pre-seasoned with 100-percent-organic flaxseed oil that enhances its nonstick quality and rust resistance. To add an upscale aesthetic, its bronze finish will patina and darken over time.
