For businesses unable to dedicate an indoor area for bulk refrigeration, the Amerikooler QF060677**FBSM-O quick-ship walk-in freezer is designed to survive outdoor use. This 5-foot- 10¹⁄₈-inch-wide by 5-foot-10⁵⁄₈-inch-deep by 7-foot-7-inch-tall unit is comprised of modular wall, ceiling, and floor panels made of 4-inch-thick AK-XPS4 insulation that provides R-32 thermal resistance and establishes a sturdy structure. For simple setup, these panels can be secured together with the cam-action locking system and compression gasket. Stucco-embossed, corrosion-resistant 26-gauge Acrylume® is laminated on the wall and ceiling panel interiors and exteriors for durability. To accommodate regular foot traffic and establish an even surface, the flooring is finished with smooth aluminum that can accommodate 600 pounds per square foot when weight is evenly distributed.

The 76-inch-tall entrance door is built with super cam-rise hinges that can be adjusted to ensure smooth movement as staff enter and exit the unit. To ensure the door self-closes, it's equipped with a door closer, three-sided magnetic gasket, and a flexible double wiper. Its keyed deadbolt handle can be locked after business hours, while an inside safety release mechanism ensures employees can always exit the unit from the inside. Inside the freezer, a center-mounted LED light above the door jamb brightens the space, while a digital thermometer provides temperature readout. The door also features a heater cable with a heat-sensing regulating thermostat and heated pressure relief vent.

The Amerikooler QF060677**FBSM-O walk-in freezer includes the Heatcraft Bohn PT0042LBTEMSA PRO³ refrigeration unit, which can be mounted to the top of the unit to conserve storage space inside the freezer. By combining the mechanics of a unit cooler and condensing unit, it minimizes the required refrigerant charge and is simple to assemble. To achieve a consistent box temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit, it uses R-448A refrigerant, and it shouldn't be used in areas that exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit is built with a two-speed evaporator fan motor, electronic defrost, and microchannel coil technology to enhance efficiency. To simplify installation, it ships fully assembled, evacuated, charged, run tested, and wired.
