The Amerikooler QC101277**FBRC-O walk-in cooler is a quick-ship unit, meaning it's constructed to a predetermined size with standard features. While this unit ships disassembled, it includes an installation instruction kit with hardware to ease setup. Its modular ceiling, wall, and floor panels feature cam-action locking systems and compression gaskets that create airtight joints; all panels are made of 4-inch-thick AK-XPS4 rigid foam insulation that's permanently bonded to primed metal surfaces. The interior and exterior surfaces are laminated with 26-gauge, stucco-embossed, corrosion-resistant Acrylume®. Designed to support foot traffic, the smooth, ¹⁄₂₀-inch-thick aluminum flooring accommodates an evenly distributed load of 600 pounds per square foot, and because it's an outdoor unit, it comes with a rain roof package.

To ensure the door opens and closes smoothly, it's fitted with cam-rise spring-assisted hinges, a spring-actuated door closer, and a three-sided magnetic gasket. Its deadbolt keyed handle latch enables operators to lock the unit to deter tampering and theft, and to prevent anyone from becoming locked inside the unit, it features an interior safety lock release handle. An LED light fixture is mounted on the door jamb's center to brighten the interior, and operators can use the corresponding pilot switch to turn the light on or off. The digital LED thermometer provides a clear view of interior temperatures.

To maintain an interior temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit, the Amerikooler QC101277**FBRC-O outdoor walk-in cooler operates with the included Heatcraft Bohn BCH0008MBACZA0000 air-cooled condensing unit. This ³⁄₄-horsepower unit can be remotely installed in areas that don't exceed ambient temperatures hotter than 90 degrees Fahrenheit. To ease maintenance, its cabinet can be removed for component access.
