The DoughXpress DXP-SM080 spiral mixer measures 28 inches wide by 45 inches deep by 47 inches high; when the safety guard is open, it has an overall height of 67 inches. The stainless steel agitator can accommodate any compatible whip, beater, and dough hook, and once the safety guard is closed, it protects the user's hands while the machine is in motion. Ingredients go into the 127-quart capacity bowl, which is made of stainless steel to a corrosion-resistant design ideal for mid- to low-intensity operations. The bowl has a reversible configuration to streamline operation with dual-directing mixing technology.

The DoughXpress DXP-SM080 mixer's gear-driven transmission features two mixing speeds, increasing production by reaching ideal post-mixing conditions in 7 to 10 minutes. To increase this unit's overall consistency, it has two 30-minute timers. The motor has a low-maintenance and high-power design, and users can adjust the speed without the need for a shifting gear lever. For optimal operation, it's implemented with an instant-response servo-limit switch.
