Because it's implemented with a hardwired design, the DoughXpress DXP-SM030 spiral mixer has the versatility for use on worktable or countertop surfaces. Because its operation relies on gear-driven transmission, the motor can reach two possible speeds. It's recommended that depending on the moisture content of the dough, the second mixing speed should not be used when the dough has an absorption rate of 50 percent or less. For maximum efficiency and to enable multitasking, this unit is implemented with two 30-minute timers.

Once the chosen attachment is applied to the stainless steel agitator, the DoughXpress DXP-SM030 mixer has a safety guard to minimize employee contact with any whip, beater, or dough hook. This unit's motor has a dual-directing design, separately operating the bowl and the arm; this works well with the reversible bowl configuration. As a safety precaution, system management features include the instant-response servo-limit switch.
