DoughXpress DXE-SS-120 Description
Great for high-volume applications, the DoughXpress DXE-SS (11238) pizza dough press can flatten 150-800 dough balls per hour. Because it operates without hydraulics or an air compressor, it saves counterspace and streamlines operation. This electromechanical unit features a simple-to-use LCD touchscreen control for precise temperature and time adjustment; once dough thickness, time, and temperature are set, it automatically flattens dough balls. To expedite production, minimize shrinkage, and activate yeast, the heated upper platen can be modified to temperatures as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Its 18-inch-diameter lower platen can be switched out with smaller platens to expand pizza size options.
This DoughXpress DXE-SS (11238) electromechanincal automatic dough press measures 21 1⁄2 inches wide by 25 inches deep by 26 1⁄2 inches high and features a bottom swing-out configuration to save countertop space. Its heavy-duty stainless steel construction and uncoated aluminum platens resist corrosion to extend the unit's service life in fast-paced kitchens. For cleaning, it can be wiped down with a damp towel. To simplify operation, this press is built with a power button that illuminates when it's in use, two start buttons, and an emergency-stop button.
