Uneven swivel due to legs.
I pulled 2 of these replacement stool frames out of the box and spent a lot of time unraveling the fantastic packaging and set them on the floor. The legs were touching the floor evenly...great! Then I noticed the swivels that the chair attaches to were uneven (and no, I don't mean the angle they are made so you don't slide out of your chair). Looking at the swivel from the "front top", it was angled to one side, then I turned it a little and it was angled differently...not level. I tried putting my bucket seat on, and yep...it was uneven. Slanting to one side or the other, depending on how you turn it. Anyway, both frames were this way, but 1 frame even had warped legs. 2 legs were slanted like they should be, and the other 2 legs were vertically straight. That won't work either!
i have bought 3 of them
seems like a heavey weighted produduct. i dont like the tilted swivel
Love the base hate the swivel
I didn't want the seat to have to tilt up or down with the provided swivel so chair bought flat swivels. The problem was that the bolts that were attached to the ones it came with were stripped. Not sure how they got them on there so tight, but it took me hours to get the swivels off. I do love the stools though (now that they are fixed).
