Constructed of 18-gauge stainless steel tubing with a 1 1⁄2-inch outside diameter, this grab bar measures 18 inches long and incorporates a return design that maintains 1 1⁄2 inches of wall clearance. One-piece drawn escutcheons snap over the mounting flanges to hide screws and create a streamlined appearance. Bent tubing ends are welded through the flanges for reinforcement, while exposed welds are ground and polished to blend with the architectural satin finish. This unit supports loads up to 250 pounds when properly mounted on reinforced walls.
