Each 5-inch knife has a 67-layer proprietary X-7 Damascus steel blade with a fine edge for clean, controlled cutting. The blades are hardened to 60 ± 1 on the Rockwell scale and hand sharpened to a 16-degree edge. Octagonal African blackwood handles provide defined gripping surfaces, while the fitted case keeps the complete set organized between uses.
