Randell BC-918RI Description
The Randell BC-918RI floor model blast chiller from the BC series is a reach-in floor model designed to rapidly reduce food temperatures for safe product handling in commercial kitchens. Equipped with a touchscreen display, the unit features intuitive controls and automatic cooling cycles that can operate using either timed settings or temperature-sensing probes. The cabinet accommodates 18 hotel pans or nine sheet pans and includes four color-coded food probes for monitoring multiple products simultaneously during chilling cycles. A front-mounted USB port enables operators to retrieve chilling data for recordkeeping purposes.
Built for heavy-duty kitchen operation, the Randell BC-918RI blast chiller is constructed of stainless steel on the front, sides, top, louver, door, and interior to support durability and cleaning procedures. The cabinet interior includes removable universal stainless steel pan slides with an adjustable pilaster system for pan configuration flexibility. The self-closing door incorporates a magnetic gasket, stainless steel liner, and tubular handle, while the ABS thermal break around the door opening helps reduce condensation buildup. Heavy-duty 6-inch casters are factory installed to support mobility during cleaning and installation.
